The Little Bothy is all on one level, making it perfect for those who can’t manage stairs, there is one shallow step down to the patio from the parking area and double entrance doors leading into the cottage.
The small- but beautifully formed - accommodation comprises an inviting open plan living room, kitchen, and dining area, offering a perfect setting for relaxation and comfort. The well-equipped kitchen boasts high-quality crockery and glassware, perfect for dining in…. or explore the array of quality local eateries. Ample dining seating for four ensures a sociable layout perfect for meals or board games.
The cosy lounge area features a charming wood burner, complementing the efficient central heating to create a warm and inviting ambiance. There is a generous supply of initial wood, paper, and kindling to get you started on a delightful fireside experience.
The two bedrooms offer flexibility with a king size bed in the master bedroom and another king-sized bed in the other, which can be separated into two small (2’6”) singles upon request, ideal for accommodating children. The bedding is luxurious with a 400 thread count, and we provide fluffy bath sheets and hand towels for your comfort.
The modern bathroom features a convenient walk-in shower, toilet, and sink, complete with a heated towel rail and limitless hot water on demand.
And outside…
The private and sunny courtyard is a little haven to relax in and enjoy an evening planning the next day’s adventures.
The orchard is yours to walk in, read a book and have coffee or a glass of wine.
There is off road parking for two cars. If you need space for more vehicles, let us know and we will try to accommodate you!
Those important little extras…
Don’t worry about unpacking straight away after you’ve arrived! There is tea, a selection of coffee pods, milk and sugar in the cottage, together with cake or biscuits. Relax and have a cuppa on us.

We don't have a paper cottage guidebook anymore; we now have a fabulous new digital guide called Touch Stay containing vast amounts of information.
Take a photo of the QR code below on your phone and open up the free app. The guide gives you all the information that you need about the cottage, from the WiFi code and check in information to where to visit, walk, play, shop and eat.
Other things to note…
Many guests now order their shopping to be delivered on the day of arrival. We are happy to put this away for you - just let us know!
We are supplied with a natural water supply from spring - drinking and cooking water is filtered
The Little Bothy is strictly non smoking including vaping
