Welcome to your home from home…
There is ample space in the boot room to comfortably remove walking boots or wellies, and hang coats before stepping into the cottage.
The bright and airy open-plan living room, kitchen, and dining area is south and east facing, allowing natural light to flood in. A multi-fuel wood burner in the living room awaits, complete with an initial supply of logs, kindling, and firelighters for a cozy first night. The kitchen is thoughtfully stocked with premium crockery and glassware for use- in fact everything you could need!
There is a convenient separate cloakroom downstairs.
The main bedroom offers serene views across the paddocks and has it’s own fully tiled en-suite shower room.
The second bedroom provides charming views of the orchard and comes with a king-size bed that can be separated into two small singles (2’6”) - ideal for our younger guests.
All bed linen provided is of a luxurious 400 thread count, perfect for a great night’s sleep.
Plush towels are plentiful, and the fully tiled main bathroom accommodates a walk-in shower, toilet, sink, and a heated towel rail for that extra touch of comfort with warm towels.
And outside…
The cottage has a stunning south facing terrace in front of the cottage, perfectly placed to enjoy the beautiful views of gardens and paddocks.
There is also a shady lawned area adjacent to the cottage with a picnic table.
The orchard is yours to walk in, read a book and have coffee or a glass of wine.
Off road parking for two cars. If you need space for more vehicles, let us know and we will try to accommodate you!

The cottage is stocked with a pint of milk, coffee pods, tea bags and sugar - and always cake or luxury biscuits for your arrival. Unwind with a cuppa and start your holiday the right way!

Other things to note…
Many guests now order their shopping to be delivered on the day of arrival. Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Waitrose and Ocado all deliver to Sulehay Cottages. We are happy to put this away for you - just let us know! Please give us 48 hours notice.
We are supplied with a natural water supply from spring - drinking and cooking water is filtered
Rest and be Thankful is strictly non smoking including vaping
Children over 2 are welcome, as long as they can sleep in a small single bed. Sorry, we can’t accommodate infants, travel cots or high chairs
Two dogs accepted at our discretion at an additional £25.00 charge per dog - please check with us first if you have two very large breeds! Doggy House Rules apply
