The Mad Turk serves a menu that is clean, fresh and authentic and best for sharing.  There is a good selection of vegetarian dishes.  Top quality meat is locally sourced and cooked the traditional Turkish way on a charcoal barbeque.  To drink, they have the very best in Turkish wines, Efes beer and for the audacious a glass of Raki!

The Slanted Door is located within a lovely 16th century building with a modern bar with an extensive fine wine list, draught beers and delicious small plates. Or - Enjoy a cocktail on the balcony overlooking the Stamford Meadows. Dine upstairs in the intimate restaurant with outstanding food which includes a large vegetarian/Vegan menu.

Lamberts Cafe - Positioned in Stamford’s town centre you will find Lambert’s nestled down a narrow lane just off the High street. Offering a welcoming and comfortable environment they serve freshly prepared seasonal food that is locally sourced where possible. Whatever the occasion from a coffee whilst out shopping, meeting friends for Brunch or a family lunch you will get a warm welcome.

The Kings Head, Maiden Lane - A tiny traditional pub nestled in the heart of Stamford. A Trip Advisor recommended pub with a gorgeous courtyard and home cooked food. Get there early as it fills up quickly!

Zada - Authentic Turkish Cuisine - Be charmed by Middle Eastern hospitality as you relax into a crush of satin cushions. Let perfumed incense and fountains brimming with roses charm your senses. Paten & Co - A fantastic bar situated right next to The Crown Hotel in the centre of Stamford, Paten is a redesigned 18th Century building reflective of its merchant history but with a modern twist, offering a flavoursome seasonal menu, craft beers, select wines and specialist cocktails.

The George Hotel … in an exceptional location sits the iconic Hotel, fondly known locally as the Grande Dame of Stamford where the Romans crossed the river on their journeys north. Within the ancient walls of this fine Coaching Inn, forgotten values abound; a warm welcome, friendly smiling staff, log fires, orchids and floral displays, the buzz of guests partaking of enjoyment in beverage and sustenance. The Tobie Norris is an award winning real ale pub serving freshly made pizza and a great selection of main dishes 7 days a week Housed in one of Stamford’s oldest, most interesting buildings dating back to the 13th century, this lovingly restored pub has a quirky yet traditional feel and is certainly one not to be missed.

    We make 9″ or 12″ Pizzas from our own homemade dough. They deliver to Sulehay Cottages but ring early on Fridays and Saturday nights as they get busy. Alternatively, you can collect - they are just around the corner.

    Freshly cooked fish and chips to order - very good quality. Set your SatNav to find PE8 6AB. Once you have your order, drive straight ahead, around the rear of RAF Wittering and then turn left onto the A47 to bring you home. It’s about a 15 minute round trip.

    Good Chinese Takeaway which you order from by phone then drive over and collect. Food is usually ready in 15 minutes. Follow the same directions as for Supa Fish. If you’d like a menu, just ask and we’ll pop round with one.

    Offering a variety of options, including Kebab, Pizza and Curry. Each item is prepared with care using fresh, high-quality ingredients. Order online for a quick and satisfying meal. They deliver to Sulehay Cottages but order early during busy times.
